Mutter Belts 03:11
I guess I'll give it one more try See one's hello, and one's goodbye The holidays are nearly here Another try, another year First come the dreams and then the doubts No need to cry, no need to shout Something in your eye But you can never cry Mutter belts, money talks, hard not to be tryin' Something in the heart And it's turned into parts Different destination or just a brief goodbye Come back in a month or two You always can surprise Dust 'em down, buckle up, magic in the eyes Something yet to come, so much to stilll be done Butter melts, sugar sticks Time for a reprise

The water under the golden gate It's never early, it's never late It's passing time, yeh it's passing through Whatever that means to you Another one down, another set of smiles a corridor that's round, another hundred miles we did it all up, in super nova style the water under the golden gate Another one down, another set of smiles a corridor that's round, another hundred miles we did it all up, in super nova style the water under the golden gate Another one down, another set of smiles a corridor that's round, another hundred miles we did it all up, in super nova style the water under the golden gate Another one down, another set of smiles a corridor that's round, another hundred miles we did it all up, in super nova style the water under the golden gate

Tally Who? 04:49
So long second chances and too stolen glances No more second guessing time limits or stressing Take it on the chin, View it as a win If you want to go, Then just let it go Take it on the chin, View it as a win If you want to go, Then just let it go If you never had to meet them, If you never had to know If you never had to reach it Would you ever even know? Always easier to preach it but difficult to say no if you ever get to reach it can you maybe let it go? If you never had to meet them, If you never had to know If you never had to reach it Would you ever even know? (I don't know, What to say) Always easier to preach it (Or to do, With the Day) but difficult to say no (Was today, yesterday?) if you ever get to reach it (What is there, left to say?) can you maybe let it go? II Don't know, what to say Or to do, with the day was today, yesterday? What is there, left to say? When you're done finding the pieces, Of the mirror or mosaic If you one day get to reach it, It's the icing on the cake And through all the isolation If the fire does still grow, Hold back all the reservation Make the most and let me know

Brighten up and the feild becomes gold Stung for a loaf Smile Regardless Tell me why again, sometime say to me again, to smile Tell me again are you a friend? Tell me why again, sometime tell me why that you decline?

Another Voyage across town why would I ever wear a frown? It's like a theme park even a dream, spark lounging gladly smiling wide A saccharine smile is all I've got Gimme a chance I'm hot to trot A foot in the door, a leg in the stable Give a a dog a bone I'm willing and able A saccharine smile is all I've got Gimme a chance I'm hot to trot A foot in the door, a leg in the stable Give a a dog a bone I'm willing and able A saccharine smile is all I've got Gimme a chance I'm hot to trot A foot in the door, a leg in the stable Give a a dog a bone I'm willing and able A scratch starts spreading so douse the flames Insomnia won't help the pain Get up and go go, don't be a no show Moving wildly, pulled by the tides A saccharine smile is all I've got Gimme a chance I'm hot to trot A foot in the door, a leg in the stable Give a a dog a bone I'm willing and able

about

Howdy Partners : )

My aim this year was to release a song a month, llife always seems to get in the way so whilst we didn't quite reach 12 they were 7 releases this year that I can still sit back and be proud of. Travelling from cold wave dancers, through circus infused stompers with a generous serving of yeehaw and of course, a pinch of mystery seasoning these 7 tracks make for a snapshot of what 2023 added up to.

A huge thanks to Conal Mooney who I worked with throughout the year as my mastering engineer who not only delivered great masters time and time again but also served as an invaluable set of ears to bounce ideas of and make for a truly excellent partner in crime. A true wizard of audio - take my hat off to you sir :)

"One More Surprise It Seems" wouldn't have been possible without the services of Jacob Bergh who mixed the track for me and did the most amazing work on it, potentially one of my favourite mixes I've had for a song and I look forward to working together again next year, I'm a bit precious about letting other people mix my songs but this was such a good expiernece and quite literally opened up my ears to new avenues. The song also features the Hexham Choir on backing vocals so my endless thanks to Manon, Allan and Jacob for their dulcet tones <3

I'm a sucker for the radio and I want to say thanks to alll the presenters and stations that gave me a spin this year - in particular to the EHFM morning steam who played a number of my ditties as their release of the week. and also to Lupini and Louise Chen for giving me the dream opportunity of playing my songs on their NTS shows

Special cheers to the homie Sid for helping me design the 4 pointed star that features throughout all of the artwork, 2023 won't be the last time you see it that's for sure.

And lastly, of course, is to the listeners, the fans and the people that have dropped their hard earned pennies on my music, you know who you are and it really does bring a big smile to my face : ))))

See you next year eh?
